Southern Pen Designs is dedicated to making unique pens and Mach 3 razors that not everyone has. I use rare woods mostly burls, sometimes Poly Resin and sometimes a combination of materials to create pens and razors that have unique shape to them and feel good to write with.
Every pen and razor that I make, I make with pride. They are all made right here in the USA in my small shop in Central Louisiana

Roller ball pens made in hardware plating's of chrome,black chrome, black TI,Rhodium,gunmetal and gold. Hand turned body`s of rare woods and burls,hand mixed and cast resin and hand made and hand laid polymer clay cane.

Chrome Mach 3 razors that also work with Venus blades. Available in rare woods, hand mixed resin and hand laid polymer clay cane flowers and butterflies.

Each one of these pens is made from her own clay flower and butterfly canes. Each flower and butterfly is a thin slice off of the main cane which is applied to a base clay then baked. After baking in an oven it is brought out to the lathe and 10 coats of super glue....yes, super glue is applied sanded and polished to a glass like finish. Super glue give a tough shell like finish with a glass like shine.
